Developed under the new Madshus RED category of pinnacle racing products, the new Super Nano skate boot offers groundbreaking performance for athletes breaking down performance barriers.
Built from the ground up around an innovative, 3D-molded Integrated Carbon Base, the Super Nano transfers every ounce of energy directly into the ski without any loss for unparalleled stability and maximum speed.
The one-piece base matches the contours of the foot, wrapping around the heel, under the arch and all the way through the forefoot, minimizing the amount of material between your foot and the ski for more direct drive. Built with a lower volume in the forefoot for precision fit and control, the Super Nano cross country ski boot uses a high-stretch flex notch beneath the MemBrain® softshell upper for maximum knee drive and range of motion.
Paired with the REDLINE Carbon Skate ski, the Super Nano skate boot transmits your power directly into speed to shatter records and raise the bar for performance.
MemBrain® Softshell ConstructionMadshus boots feature MemBrain® softshell and hybrid constructions, allowing the boot to comfortably conform to the contours of the foot while providing durability, waterproof protection, breathability, and warmth.
PVC-FreeIn keeping with Madshus' ongoing commitment to protect the winter world, Madshus has introduced the best-fitting and most breathable boots yet, in a totally PVC-Free construction that lessens our impact on the winter world around us.
Lacing FingersProviding the best-fitting Nordic boots requires a lacing system that secures the entire foot. Madshus' Lacing Fingers reach far below the boot's visible lacing system to the bottom of the boot, securing the forefoot laterally and medially with balanced lacing tension.
NNN OutsoleMadshus boots use the Rottefella NNN binding interface. With two guide rails and a broader binding plate, NNN offers maximum stability and control over the ski. The close contact between the boot, binding and ski (especially with the NIS plate system) provides optimal power transfer for a more efficient stride.

Comments about Madshus Super Nano Skate:
I switched to the Super Nano boot for the 2014 Season. The boot is the stiffest boot I have ever skied in which provides excellent stability and power transfer. I tried to save these boots for skiing on snow but the added control had me bringing them out for my hardest roller ski interval sessions too..
- Feels half size too small
- Feels true to width
