PR100X Core

PR100X is an acrylic-based, high-performance foam core, reinforced with Madshus' Triaxial Braiding technology. This is a lightweight, performance foam also found in other extreme strength/weight applications like helicopter rotor blades and airplane jet fans. The PR100X Core gives the ski excellent dampening performance and is the number one choice for top-level skis. The core is 3D-shaped on our Nanosonic skis to maximize the precision and feel of the ski.

NIS Plates

NIS (Nordic Integrated System) uses a permanently-bonded plate on the ski that the binding slides onto. Developed with Rottefella and patented by Madshus, this allows the skier to mount their own bindings quickly without needing to screw into the ski. With multiple positions for mounting the binding on the NIS plate, the skier can easily tune the binding position relative to the balance point of the ski, which is useful for different snow conditions.
