Nanosonic Carbon Skate R Ski
Built for speed and performance on the World Cup, the Nanosonic Carbon Skate R features our new skate geometry for optimal power transfer and minimum swingweight. The Skate R is designed for universal use with a high, flexible camber line and medium pressure areas, and it provides excellent directional stability with an easy edge-to-edge performance.
PR100X CorePR100X is an acrylic-based, high-performance foam core, reinforced with Madshus' Triaxial Braiding technology. This is a lightweight, performance foam also found in other extreme strength/weight applications like helicopter rotor blades and airplane jet fans. The PR100X Core gives the ski excellent dampening performance and is the number one choice for top-level skis. The core is 3D-shaped on our Nanosonic skis to maximize the precision and feel of the ski.
3D ConstructionAdding enhanced performance to Madshus racing skis, 3D Construction is the unique process of shaping the ski's core to remove weight and channel stiffness and responsiveness in specific patterns for a precise tuning of a ski's torsional rigidity and flex.
NIS PlatesNIS (Nordic Integrated System) uses a permanently-bonded plate on the ski that the binding slides onto. Developed with Rottefella and patented by Madshus, this allows the skier to mount their own bindings quickly without needing to screw into the ski. With multiple positions for mounting the binding on the NIS plate, the skier can easily tune the binding position relative to the balance point of the ski, which is useful for different snow conditions.
P190 Nano BaseDesigned for the speed and performance of our Champion Series racing products, the P190 Nano base comes in three different styles - Cold, Plus, Universal, and Zero CIG. Each style is intended to match up with your normal skiing conditions and waxing needs for the best performance available.
