Madshus athletes earned at total of 13 medals in Pyeong Chang (KOR).

In both cross-country and biathlon, the Madshus racers took home medals of all colors: gold, silver and bronze.

At the biathlon range, Anaïs Bescond helped France to gold in the mixed relay and bronze in the women’s relay, and also won the bronze medal in the 10-kilometer sprint, which was the first biathlon event in Pyeong Chang.

Benedikt Doll (GER) takes home no less than three medals: two individual bronze medals in the 12.5-kilometer sprint and the 15-kilometer mass start, as well as bronze from the men’s relay.

In the women’s relay, Anna Magnusson helped Sweden to silver, skiing the third leg for her team.

At the cross-country venue, Ingvild Flugstad Østberg skied the opening leg in the women’s relay, setting Norway up for gold.

In the individual events both Hans Christer Holund (NOR) and Krista Pärmäkoski (FIN) was on the podium at the very first formal cross-country event in Pyeong Chang, both earning the bronze in the skiathlon: The women skied their 15-kilometer on Saturday, February 10, and the men skied their 30-kilometer version of the competition the next day.

Pärmäkoski also earned the bronze in 10-kilometer skate race in the middle of the championships, and capped her stay in Pyeong Chang with a silver medal from the 30-kilometer classic mass start on Sunday February 25, which was the very last individual event.

In Nordic Combined, championship rookie Jarl Magnus Riiber helped Norway to silver in the team competition.
