Madshus athletes are on track for the 2019 FIS Nordic World Championships, which take place in Seefeld (AUT) from February 19 through March 3, with the first cross-country races on Wednesday, February 20.

Among recent highlights, Sandra Ringwald (GER) posted her first-ever individual World Cup podium in the sprint race in Cogne (ITA) on Saturday this weekend.
On Sunday, Alexander Bessmerthnykh (RUS) followed up with third place in the men’s 15-kilometer classic in Cogne. Last month, Bessmerthnykh helped Russia to first place in the 4×7.5-kilometer relay in Ulricehamn (SWE).
Additionally, Hans Christer Holund (NOR) was eighth and Vebjørn Turtveit (NOR) was ninth in the 15-kilometer classic event, securing three Madshus racers among the top nine finishers on Sunday.
