At the first IBU biathlon World Cup of 2020, Madshus racers nails double podium Madshus at the relays in Oberhof (GER) on Saturday:
First, Anaïs Bescond helps France to third place in the women’s 4×6-kilometer relay, and later in the afternoon, Benedikt Doll anchored Germany to third place in men’s 4×7.5-kilometer relay. This week, the IBU biathlon World Cup moves on to races at Rupholding (GER).

At the cross-country area, Helene Marie Fossesholm (NOR) took home two victories and a second place after the first three races in the 2020 Norwegian Cup. She started her weekend by winning the 5-kilometer classic race at Lygna by almost a minute on Friday. On Sunday, she won the 10-kilometer skate race by full minute. In the classic sprint on Saturday, she won her quarterfinal and semi final heats, was second in the final, and also had the second fastest qualifier time.

Madshus marathon racer Astrid Øyre Slind (NOR) nails another Ski Classics podium in the Maximilian Lauf on Saturday where she pulled in to third place, just seconds from second place in the 60-kilometer classic race in Seefeld, Austria.
The strong Norwegian marathon racer has been on the podium in every Ski Classics event so far this season, and is now leading the climbing competition, second in the general classification and third in the points competition. The 65-kilometer La Diagonela in Switzerland on January 18 is the next event in the Ski Classics.
