Four Madshus racers take home a total of eight medals from the 2018 FIS U23/Junior Nordic World Championships in Goms (AUT).

Jon Rolf Skamo Hope (NOR), who was rated the best athlete of the Junior World Championships, earned three medals in four days, including gold in the 10-kilometer classic event on January 30, silver in the duathlon (10km classic + 10km skate) on February 1 and helped Norway to gold in the relay on February 3.

Fellow Norwegian national team racer Harald Østberg Amundsen earned two medals in Goms, beating Hope for the gold in the duathlon and skiing the opening leg for Norway in the relay.

Hailey Swirbul (USA) took home two medals from Austria. She was second in the 5-kilometer classic on January 30, and was third in the duathlon (5km classic + 5km skate) on February 1.

At the U23 level, Mattis Stenshagen (NOR) won the men’s 15-kilometer classic race on January 30.
