Cool and collected, National team rookie Sturla Holm Lægreid (NOR) kicked off the new year right where he left off in December: On the podium, three days in a row.

On Friday, Lægreid was third in the 10-kilometer sprint at the IBU World Cup in Oberhof (GER), setting himself up nicely for Saturday’s pursuit, where he bagged his fourth individual IBU biathlon World Cup victory of the season. Then, on Sunday, the biathlon prodigy put a solid conclusion to a stellar weekend as he anchored Norway to second place in the mixed relay.
