Madshus is present at the Biathlon World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk (RUS) with an experienced service crew to assist the Madshus athletes, a solid troop of potential medal candidates. While everyone has big expectations for two of the Nordic ski world’s biggest talents, Ole Einar Bjoerndalen and Emil Hegle Svendsen of Norway, 3-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Greis of Germany also appears to have nailed the peak for the World Championships. Additionally, Madshus racers Olga Zaitseva and Anton Shipulin are among the Russian home favorites.

After three days of competitions, Madshus racers have already helped themselves to two gold medals (Ole Einar Bjoerndalen and Ann Kristin Flatland in the mixed relay), and two silver medals (Michael Greis in the mixed relay and Emil Hegle Svendsen in the pursuit). And distans race Tuesday give a silver medal to Madshus when the Home athlete Maxim Maximov step up at the podium, and overall on Tuesday 4 madshus athletes in top 10 2 :place Maxim Maximov 4:th place Emil Hegle Svendsen 5:th Ole Einar bjoerndalen and Michael Greis at place nr 6.

The IBU World Championships started with the mixed relay on March 3, and will conclude on March 13 with the women’s relay. Madshus is looking forward to the rest of the races, which includes individual and mass start races for both men and women, as well as both men’s and women’s relays.
