Madshus marathon team racers on Team United Bakeries are no exception. They make the most of the long days, and the perfect training conditions on the snow. But they made the most of the travel to the snow fields as well: While the team vans drove up to Sognefjellet at 1400 meters elevation, the team athletes roller skied from sea level to the resort. As it was a steep and long approach, the skiers made the most of it by turning the travel into an intensity workout from a different world, splitting the uphills into 6×20 minute all out double-pole intervals.
