Podium and top-10 finishes at the FIS World Cup opener, and more to come.

Madshus veteran Magnus Moan (NOR) opens the 2018-19 FIS Nordic Combined World Cup season with third place in the team competition in Ruka (FIN) on Sunday. Moan was also seventh in the individual competition on Saturday.

In the FIS Cross-Country World Cup opener, Krista Pärmäkoski (FIN) was fifth in the sprint race in Ruka on Saturday and sixth in the women’s 10km classic event on Sunday. She is now third in the overall World Cup.

The FIS World Cup continues with three days of racing in Lillehammer (NOR) next weekend, with races from Friday November 30 through Sunday December 2.

Also this week, the 2019 IBU World Cup gets underway in Pokljuka (SLO), with competitions from November 30 to December 9.

Finally, the 2019 Ski Classics marathon series opens this weekend, with the Pro Team Prologue on Friday November 30, followed by the individual prologue on Sunday December 2. Both events take place in Livigno, Italy.
