Sunday, Madshus racer Emil Hegle Svendsen (NOR) nailed every single target in the pursuit competition in Rupholding (GER). The last time he did so in a World Cup event was in March 2010, 1401 days ago.

Today, Svendsen didn’t miss a single target, and he earned his second World Cup victory in two days: Yesterday, Svendsen won the 20-kilometer individual competition, and accordingly started Sunday’s pursuit in the first place, almost 15 seconds ahead of Alexey Volkov (RUS).

Throughout the pursuit, Svendsen was never threatened, and at the end of the day he won by 18 seconds, beating Slovenian Jakov Fak.

The 2014 Olympics in Sotchi are just 26 days away. Let the Games begin.
