Madshus racers delivered in the World Cup relays on Sunday.

Heidi Weng skied the first leg for Norway’s team 1 in the 4x5km relay at Beitostølen (NOR). Weng, who won the 2018 overall and distance World Cup as well as the 2018 Tour de Ski, delivered a strong classic leg, set the stage nicely for her teammates, and the team ended up in first place in the first World Cup relay of the season.

Krista Pärmäkoski helped Finland to the podium. She skied the second leg of the relay, moving her team up to third place. On Saturday, Pärmäkoski was sixth in the 15-kilometer skate race at Beitostølen.

Later in the day, Olympic medalist Hans Christer Holund helped Norway’s team 2 to third place in the men’s 4×7.5km relay. Holund was fifth in the 30km skate race on Saturday.
