Where winter rules! To be clear, everywhere there is snow is Madshus land:

Snow covered fields sparkling like diamonds in the crisp winter air.

Big trees leaning over the trail, their branches weighed down by a thick blanket of snow delivered in the last snow dump.

The moon lighting up velvet soft snow and trails – just begging for a quick ski into the dark, quiet winter night.

Freshly groomed trails and perfect corduroy on a winter morning.

Shellproof crust on a sunny spring morning that allows you to ski anywhere across the open at rocket speed – until the crust transforms into slush in the afternoon and creates a perfect reason to chill out with your friends, watching the sun melt the snow on the roof and it drips with a merry sound onto the patio where you are soaking up the warmth of the spring. Wherever this happens, it’s Madshus land.

But specifically, Madshus land is the area near the Madshus Factory in Biri, Norway.

Only a skip and a hop from the legendary winter paradise Sjusjøen to the east, and a short trip from Beitostølen to the west, the Madshus factory is situated in the heart of Madshus land.

Sjusjøen provides winter practically most of the year. Trails are groomed daily from early fall until almost June, offering terrain ranging from World Cup venues at the Birkebeiner stadium and Natrudstilen, to gently rolling trails to the woods and exposed tundra well above treeline.

Beitostølen is the host of the traditional FIS season opener in November, and a winter paradise to World Cup skiers, aspiring juniors, families and backcountry enthusiasts alike.

This is where we get inspired, where ideas are born, where products are tested and retested. This is our Madshus land. Where is yours?
