Take a sneak peek at this season’s best new gear

September 5, 2022

With the fresh air of fall comes a fresh selection of exciting new products for the upcoming season – check out some of our favorite picks for the 2022/23 season!

There is a lot to look forward to when the snow flies again: Take a sneak peek at this season’s best new gear.

Redline Limited Edition
Our flagship skis, now in PURPLE! Why purple? Because we wanted to build the best racing ski on the market in a color as bold and flashy as the features of this ski!

The Redline Classic LTD comes with Madshus’ revolutionary green bases, which earned championship medals in both cross-country and biathlon the very first season on the snow. The green-base technology delivers unmatched performance on coarse snow in wet and warm conditions: The coarser, wetter and warmer the conditions, the better they glide.

In fact, the green bases are such a big deal that we celebrate with launching then as a special, limited edition. Alas, for the 2022-23 season, the both the skate and the classic models come with purple graphics as bold as the green bases: Redline Classic LTD and Redline Skate LTD.

What’s new:
The green bases were first introduced last season, but only in the skate model. The new Redline Classic LTD is the classic model with the green-base technology. The Redline Classic LTD is designed with the tallest camber of all our classic skis, perfectly tuned for klister conditions, which is where this ski will shine.

In short:
Green bases - because they’re fresh, fluoro-free and flashingly fast.
Purple graphics - well. Because we think this is a big deal.

Endurace Skin Skis
Our top skin ski model for simply skiing, Endurace Skin has been rated “best in test” over and over again.

“The Madshus skis are light and reliable, and simply super-easy to love for everyone. They are the most versatile of all the skis we tested this year, and a safe bet for nearly every kind of skier,” concluded the jury of one of the tests in which the Madshus Endurace Skin Ski was rated Best in Test last season.

In short, Endurace skin skis deliver on the core principles of our skin ski philosophy: Simply skiing. Or, as one of the testers put it: “These are skis I want to ski all day long”

The winning features? Overall, the Endurace Skin ski model is well-suited for all conditions and easy to handle for most skiers regardless of proficiency level. At 1620 grams per pair (without bindings), the Endurace Skin was the lightest ski in the test by a landslide. And they don’t make that “skin ski noise” as you glide along the tracks.
